 COVID-19 Protocol

Masking is now optional in our office for both team members and patients. Team members will continue to wear masks in treatment areas, but can choose whether they want to mask in non-treatment areas. 

Haven Dental PDX has always taken extreme precaution when it comes to infection control and the safety of our patients and team members. Your safety is our top priority and we observe all CDC, ADA, and OSHA protocols for infection control.

If for whatever reason, you require stepped-up precautions for reducing the risk of contracting a respiratory illness in our office, you can request the following from our practice; 

1. Arrival: If you do not want to sit in the waiting room with other patients, you can request to be seated in your treatment room upon arrival. If you arrive early and your treatment room is not available you can wait in your car/outside the office and we can call you when your treatment room is available. 

2. Treatment room - you can request that your providers wear a K95 mask. We will continue to have HEPA air filters on. 

3. Check out - to avoid contact at the front desk, payment and check out can be completed in the treatment room. We ask that you request this at the beginning of your appointment. 

We want to continue to make Haven Dental a place that is comfortable for all. We will allow for your own discretion in deciding whether you would like to mask in our office or not. 

If you are sick, have active symptoms of a respiratory illness, have a fever present, and have an appointment scheduled, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better. We ask that you wait 5 days after resolution of symptoms/fever/illness before you are seen in our practice. 

We ask for everyone's help in helping to curb the spread of disease in our practice, so please practice proper hand hygiene.
